The Finance Act 2026 (passed by Parliament 23 June 2026, Special Gazette Vol. 107 No. 6 of 15 June 2026) raises the digital service tax on non-resident digital-service providers from 2% to 3% of gross payments and adds VAT exemptions for imported electric-vehicle charging-station equipment and LPG smart meters, all effective 1 July 2026.
