Oklahoma Tax Commission Q4 2026 rate chart (updated 11 August 2026): Salina sales and use tax 4% to 5%, Laverne 3.25% to 3%, Wellston 4% to 3.5%, new Selah 4% sales and use tax, new Bristow 10% lodging tax, all from 1 October 2026; state rate stays 4.5%.
What changed in detail
The Oklahoma Tax Commission’s rates and codes chart for the fourth quarter of 2026 (updated 11 August 2026) lists these changes, all from 1 October 2026:
- Salina: sales and use tax from 4% to 5%.
- Laverne: from 3.25% to 3%.
- Wellston: from 4% to 3.5%.
- Selah: a new 4% sales and use tax.
- Bristow: a new 10% lodging tax.
The state rate stays at 4.5%.
What it means
These are city-level changes in both directions, so a blanket quarterly rate refresh is needed rather than a uniform increase. Selah and Bristow are new levies, not changes to existing ones; sellers and lodging operators there who have never collected a local tax need to register the new rate in their systems before 1 October.
