Tajikistan INN Checker
Check a Tajik taxpayer identification number (ИНН / РМА) and see the registered name after sign-up.
What is a Tajik INN?
The INN (ИНН; in Tajik РМА, рақами мушаххаси андозсупоранда) is the 9-digit taxpayer identification number issued by Tajikistan’s Tax Committee. It encodes the registering tax inspectorate and the taxpayer type, ending in a control digit — for example 020026745 for CJSC Spitamen Bank. VAT payers keep the same number and also receive a VAT registration certificate.
Tajik INN format
Inspectorate, taxpayer type, serial number and control digit — 9 digits.

Example: 020026745 (CJSC Spitamen Bank, as printed on its own website and listed as active in the Tax Committee register).
- Not the ЕИН: A 10-digit number on a company’s details is usually its single identification number (ЕИН / РЯМ), not the INN.
- Individuals: A natural person’s INN (type digit 5–9) is personal data, so this page uses a company example only.
- What you get: If the INN is in our data source, the registered name. No status is shown, so a liquidated company can still be found; an “unverified” result does not mean the INN is invalid.
How to check a Tajik INN
- 1 Find the INN in the supplier’s bank details or invoice, usually labelled ИНН or РМА.
- 2 Enter the 9 digits above. The checker confirms the format and looks the INN up.
- 3 Check that the name (shown in full after sign-up) matches your supplier, and that the third digit fits — 0–4 for a company.
- 4 Given a 10-digit number? That is the ЕИН — ask the supplier for its 9-digit INN.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many digits does a Tajik INN have?
Nine: a 2-digit code of the tax inspectorate that registered the taxpayer, one digit for the taxpayer type, a 5-digit serial number and a control digit.
What does the third digit of the INN mean?
The taxpayer type: 0 to 4 for a legal entity and 5 to 9 for a natural person.
What is the difference between the INN and the ЕИН?
The INN (ИНН / РМА) is the 9-digit tax number issued by the Tax Committee. Legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and foreign branches also receive a separate single identification number of state registration (ЕИН / РЯМ, 10 digits in practice) when they are registered — Spitamen Bank, for example, has INN 020026745 and ЕИН 0210002650.
Does Tajikistan have a separate VAT number?
Not as a separate tax ID. A VAT payer keeps its INN and is sent a VAT registration certificate; the certificate’s number and date must appear on VAT invoices alongside the INN.
Who issues the INN?
The Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, when it registers the taxpayer.
Does the INN have a check digit?
Yes, the last digit is a control digit, but the method is not published in the Rules or the Tax Code, so a format check cannot confirm it.
