Illinois Department of Revenue Informational Bulletin FY 2027-02 (October 2026) states that, effective 1 November 2026, Bourbonnais will impose a 1% local Automobile Renting Occupation and Use Tax.
The combined rate on qualifying motor vehicle rentals there becomes 6.00%: 5.00% State plus 1.00% local.
What it means
